A World War II action series with a touch of humor. The Rat Patrol was made up of four young commandos - three Americans and one Englishman - who were fighting General Rommel's elite Afrika Korps in the North African desert. Sam Troy (Chris George) was their leader, Jack Moffitt (Gary Raymond) his very British demolitions expert, Mark Hitchcock (Lawrence Casey), a young private trying to live down a "sissy" reputation, and Tully Pettigrew (Justin Tarr), the charming con man. They traveled over the burning sands in two machine-gun-mounted jeeps, working as an independent team because no organized unit could handle them. Captain Hans Dietrich (Hans Gudegast), C.O. of a German armored unit was their usual enemy.

Aired 1966-1968 on ABC.
